Casablanca Valley Wine Tour
Learn all about the wine-growing traditions of Chile with our full-day Casablanca Valley Tour. This long and lush valley is one of the most important valleys in Chile for white wine production. Due to it’s climatic and geographical location, close to the sea, conditions here are perfect for the production of Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir. During this full-day tour we’ll take you to two of our favourite vineyards in the valley; Casas del Bosque and Viña Veramonte. Here you’ll find out everything there is to know about the wine-making process and sample some of the best wines from this valley.
The first vineyard we’ll visit is Veramonte. Located at the beginning of the Casablanca Valley, Veramonte produces organic wine of the highest standard. Their organic and sustainable practises, which include the use of sheep in their vineyards, contribute to high-quality soil, high-quality harvests and therefore high-quality, flavoursome wine. In this tour you’ll be taken around the premises, explore their on-site cellars and try some of their premium wines.
Next, we’ll move on, through the village of Casablanca to Casas del Bosque vineyard. Here you’ll have the opportunity to have lunch at their renowned restaurant Tanino.
After lunch a guide will show you around the vineyard, once again you’ll explore their cellars, learn about their winemaking traditions and be able to try three-four of their finest wines.
Tour is a full day (9 hours) - 9.30 am pickup and we aim to be back at your hotel at 6.30 pm.
